The Task Force evaluated the existing structure of AMATYC committees and made recommendations for a new committee structure and organization.

- Chair – Committee on the Structure of Committees
The committee made recommendations on the creation of AMATYC Networks (ANets) to be used for special interest groups under the AMATYC committee structure.

The committee reviewed the list of responsibilities for the position of Assistant Conference Coordinator and wrote the position’s job description.
- Liaison – AMATYC Store
After the AMATYC logo was created and approved, I researched and made recommendations on a provider to sell AMATYC merchandise online. As liaison, I worked on promoting the store through merchandise displays and raffles during AMATYC Conferences and special sales on AMATYC merchandise.

The committee developed guidelines for the AMATYC Summer Institutes. These included the approval process for new and repeat institutes and the reporting process to the AMATYC Board.

- Chair – Photo Guidelines Committee
The committee recommended guidelines connected to the taking and use of photos at AMATYC conferences and other events.
- Chair – Publication Funding Allocation Committee
The committee reviewed the currently funding for all AMATYC publications and made recommendations for the reallocation of funds.

- Chair – Merchandise RFP
The committee wrote guidelines for the purchase of items from vendors. This included creating a “Request for Proposals” to be used for major purchases.

Re-designed and updated AMATYC web site. During my term: online registration, electronic proceedings, online proposals to present/preside, the conference miniporgram, and conference evaluations were refined and added to the AMATYC server.
